Htplilpup Your dxdiag lists a few crashes of the graphics driver, so please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the driver. Here's how:
You can get a fresh copy of the newest driver here:
If that doesn't help, did you in fact uninstall and reinstall the 2022 VC++ runtimes? I just want to make sure before proceeding.
If you did and that and reinstalling the driver haven't helped, please manually uninstall and reinstall your .NET Framework runtimes. Click Windows key-R, enter appwiz.cpl in the run box, click "Turn Windows features on or off," and you'll see the .NET entries near the top. Click any checked or filled-in box to uninstall the runtiems, and restart your computer. Repeat the process, clicking the now-empty boxes to reinstall, and restart again. If you get an error when doing this, please post a screenshot.
You can also try installing the Media Feature Pack linked in the Windows N section of the first post. While your system shouldn't need it, the installer may be able to repair any issues with these resources.
Kookiemonster25 I just found your post and have merged it with the master thread for this error. In addition to the above, please clear another 15 GB of space on your drive, as its current 6 GB free isn't enough room for Windows to maneuver even when it's not trying to run a demanding program like Sims 4.
