My saves folder has not disappeared, and all the saves in it seem to have the proper name and look fine. Even so, when I open up the game, none of my saves are there. This happened after installing the EA app.
@YuhTM Please post the full file path to your saves folder. Right-click the folder and select Properties > General, then post the Location.
Please also find the file path the game is using, as described here:

My PC is not in English but I think it's still understandable, Skrivebord means Desktop, and Dokumenter Documents fyi.
File path my saves folder: C:\Users\basma\Desktop\Dokumenter\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves
File path game is using: C:\Users\basma\OneDrive\Skrivebord\Billeder\Dokumenter\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves
I realize it has something to do with OneDrive as expected, but the saves folder in onedrive only has another folder in it called 'scratch'- puzzlezaddict2 years agoHero+
@YuhTM Okay, this is a bit of a mess. if you don't want to clean it up, just move the saves to the location the game is reading and be done with it.
If you do want to clean this up, please search in Windows for "command prompt," open it, and enter this:
reg query "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders" /v "Personal"
And post the results. Additionally, let me know whether you want OneDrive to sync your Documents overall or not, and if so, whether you want it syncing your Sims 4 data.

I would love to clean it up so I tried with the command prompter (not sure if I did it right) but this is what it gave me:And I don't want Onedrive to get synched with my documents, it used to be not long ago and it caused me some problems so I turned it off, don't know if it was a bad decision, also thank you for taking time to help me.
