@YuhTM The first post on page one has instructions for stopping OneDrive from syncing Documents and for getting rid of it entirely, under "I don't want OneDrive to sync my files" and "I want to get rid of OneDrive," respectively. Choose whichever option works for you and follow the instructions.
Once you've done that, and before you move around any files, run the same command in Command Prompt (yes, you did it correctly) to see the new file path to Documents. Ideally, it should say this:
C:\Users\basma\Dokumenter
If it does not, right-click the Documents icon in a File Explorer window, the one in the left panel with a special icon (as opposed to a yellow folder icon), and select Properties > Location. Click Change, then choose the above file path as the new location.
The other option is to edit the registry to force the location to change. That's covered in this guide:
You only need to change the location of Documents, not anything else. Double-check your work with the Command Prompt command, and when the location is correct, launch Sims 4 and make sure it's now reading Users > basma > Dokumenter etc. as well. If so, move your saves and anything else you want to keep to that folder.
If the process goes wrong at any point, or you're not sure what to do, stop there and let me know what isn't working or is confusing.
@puzzlezaddict So I am trying to unsync Onedrive, but the problem is the whole 'Right-click the OneDrive icon, select Settings > Backup, click Manage Backup,' thing is not available. There is no settings button, so I can't get to the Backup thing, I tried figuring it out myself but I really can't. (Settings would be 'Indstillinger')

@YuhTM Right-click the OneDrive icon in the lower-right corner of the screen. It looks like a cloud.

@puzzlezaddict I have done that and found the backup thing, but it was already turned off, so I just tried to run the command prompt again but it still said Onedrive. So yh idk what to do.

@YuhTM Use the guide I linked to edit the registry. This will force Windows to use the proper location for Documents.

@puzzlezaddict Omg thank you so so much. I finally got everything to work and be where it should be. My game works as well, and the file path is correct too. Thank you so much you saved me fr❤️ Btw can I delete the Sims 4 folder that is no longer in use?

@YuhTM I'm so glad to hear it. And yes, you can delete the old Sims 4 folder if there's nothing in it you want to preserve.
