My sims 4 reset itself about 2 weeks ago and I am unable to get my progress back. Even the save files were empty when I tried to restore it. 

This same thing happened to me a few years ago. Why does it happen? 

Is there any way I can get my progress back? 

Thankful for all suggestions 🙂
