Hello! I've recently picked the sims 4 back up after not playing for years. I previously had the game downloaded through Origin, and did a recent switch over to EA. The previous CC/Mods that I had synced into the game through Origin have been kept safe, but yesterday I tried downloading and inputting new CC. Even with my CC/Mods enabled in-game, none of the new downloads seem to be taking hold in the game (the CC are not showing up in CAS and older CC that I've deleted isn't removed). I looked in my files to see if it was a syncing issue, but each file seems to be good. I'm not sure what might be causing the problem. Is it something in-game that I need to do or something with the files?
I already took the cc/mods out and put them into a new mod folder thinking that would resolve the issue, but it hasn't. Not sure what else to do. Any tips or information? Thank you 🙂

@AverageGamerGrl You're going to need to look at this topic to see how to get the game folders not only out of OneDrive but also where the game sees them: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/CURRENT-ISSUE-Sims-4-saves-user-content-disappearing-PC/td-p/12475370. If they aren't in the Mods folder the game itself creates, the game won't see them, and the game looks for that in Documents.
Localthumbcache is a file in the folder Documents > Electronic Arts.
I also recomment the How to Use Mods topic in this forum.

I deleted the localthumbcache file and it deleted everything from my game, so I'm going to reset my system to a time before i deleted these files.
I also went through the OneDrive and the game to see what file the game was reading, and it's a OneDrive file that I no longer have access to. I'm trying to find a way to change what files the game is reading from or figuring out where I need to put the files for the game to read them without damaging my saves/game data. I stopped OneDrive from syncing the files just in case that might be causing the problem as well.
