i did follow those steps and i got confused at the tray part because i don’t know what i’m looking for in the tray

@fOoD666666 The Tray folder contains files for your saved households and builds, the content you see in your in-game Library. Each Library entry has several files associated with it, all of which should have the same creation date. Point is, you'll want to save everything in Tray if you don't want to lose that data.

yes but the original thread talks about sorting through my tray to determine the issue and why my saves won't show up and i don't know how to do that

@fOoD666666 Please post screenshots of the saves and Tray files in the folders where they're located. (I want to see file names and dates.) Include the address bar, above the list of files and folders, in the screenshots.
Please also list the full path to the user folder Sims 4 is reading. Here's how to find it:
