@HushPuppy305 The file labeled Slot_00000002.save should be usable as long as there aren't any other characters in the name. The one with -Copy in it can be used too if renamed to the proper format. But make sure to change its number too so that it doesn't conflict with the original.
All saves need to go into the folder the game is reading. Here's how to find it:

Thank you for that advice. I am still unsure how to go a about fixing my game. For context, I downloaded a lot from the gallery. After placing the lot and saving the game, I noticed that the game would be stuck in the loading screen after going back into manage worlds. I had to force close the Sims to get out of it. After trying to go back in and seeing that it was stuck on the loading screen, I exited the game and turned on OneDrive thinking that maybe it needed to back up the lot that I downloaded. What a big mistake, because after that, I couldn’t find any of my saves. After looking for the location path and moving some folders around, and copying the Sims four to a jump drive, I noticed that the saves are now duplicated and say copy for the slots. Same thing for the trays. I added screenshots of what I see. And the path shown is the one that was displayed in-game after following your steps to find it.
