After updating my game last night I no longer have any of my saves. I originally got this game on my 15th birthday in 2014, and I'm turning 25 this year in just a few more months. Almost 10 whole years' worth of saves are gone. To say I am devastated is an understatement. I looked through forms and Reddit to see if there was a way to recover them and it honestly looks like the files don't exist on my computer anymore. Reddit suggestions had said to look in my file system but nothing turned up. I don't understand how this happened. I had 5 I was actively playing in recently. I'm hoping this post will drum up some more suggestions or hopefully it'll notify the devs about the issue which support has told me I can only wait and see if there's a potential fix for it.
I read that this is an issue that's happened with others recently too. I hope you were able to recover them if it was and if not I'm right there with you.

Thank you. Unfortunately, most of those suggestions did not help. I'm at the last one that may help now which is trying to figure out where the game is saving if it's different from where it's supposed to but when looking for the files by searching "slot_" nothing shows up so I'm honestly not that hopeful anymore. I never used Onedrive to sync files and I did a virus scan which turned up nothing. I also tried repairing my game. I truly think they're lost sadly! Thank you for adding me to this post so I could try the other suggestions though!!
