I opened Sims 4 this afternoon, to find that all my packs and kits have loaded, as if I'd just bought them. They were purchased years ago, so why this has happened I don't know. I still have my saved file on my PC, but the game isn't connecting through EA/Origin.
So, do I start playing new games and start from scratch on everything... including clearing/demolishing, new buildings and houses I hadn't yet completed and not uploaded to the gallery, new characters that I'd created in CAS? Or is this going to be corrected by EA ASAP?
Also, I have found that my mods aren't loading, so all my CC content is inaccessible. Basically, Sims 4 has RESET EVERYTHING, like I don't know how to play and I'm guided through the annoying tutorial from when I began playing 8 years ago. I am no newbie to Sims 4!
