OldSkoolPlayer1​  I'm not sure what you mean here.  The entire point of the OneDrive sections of the first post is that they show how to change settings once OneDrive has already started syncing your Sims 4 data.  You can prevent that, or get rid of OneDrive entirely, while preserving your files.

And these do work; I tested them on one of my computers while writing this guide.
