This is more a heads up to let you know of a problem I encountered after my PC updated on 10/22/25.
My Windows 11 pc updated to version 25H2. Afterwards when I logged into my Sims 4 account the game couldn't find my existing game files. Starting a new game was the only option available. When I went to my "My Documents" file, the Sims 4 Save file was empty. Actually, the whole Electronic Arts subfolders were missing too. Luckily, I had my complete, uncorrupted file saved in another My Documents folder. So I deleted the entire corrupted Electronic Arts folder. I copied the entire saved Electronic Arts folder to My Documents and then I restarted my computer. It worked...my game is back with my last Save File. It looks like the original Path to the My Documents folder moved to another location and the game couldn't find it. I just wanted to let you know in case it happens to someone else.
Anyway, the advice to "Save our games" is a timely one. Like they save, "Save and Save Often". It eliminates headaches and heartaches and doesn't take long to do. Good advise!👍😉
