Hello i have a problem with The Sims 4. After update my game crashed a few times, and i lost all of my saves. Ive tried to save my work and my saves are on the desktop. I deleted all of my mods an cc because i was sure they were the cause of the crashes. But unfortunetly after i tried multiple times repairing the game troubleshooting, cleared cache etc. Game stopped turning on at all.
So i uninstall it and deleted ea app from my pc (windows 11) and download everything again. And now when i try to run a game it shows this: The Sims 4 is already running. [ed35e0ea:29f00e76:00000000:18a1dd51]
I've tried almost everything from this thread: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/CURRENT-ISSUE-Sims-4-already-running/m-p/13276380/highlight/true#documents and also from a few different threads about it but there is no thread that is simmilar to my situation. BECAUE - most of the fixes requires doing something with game's folder in Documents. WHICH I DONT HAVE, And thats super weird because it was there before. Now ive tried to search for it but it looks like my game wont make that folder anywhere. So thats probably the problem why it wont work. But no matter how many times i reinstall the game - this folder wont show up.
I dont have antiviruses besides windows protect, and i add the sims 4 as an exeption in settings so that didnt work. I dont have OneDrive, Ive deleted all of my mods and cc. The only thing i didnt do is making new admin Windows account. I would like to avoid this step, or at least ask you for help before i do this to be sure there is no other way.
I played the sims for a loooong time and thats not my first problem with it - but definitely first time i dont have Electronic Arts folder in my documents. Please help.
@g3kyhjtwx8tu I've merged your post with the master thread for this issue. The new admin Windows account is a diagnostic step as well as a workaround: whether it helps tells us what to try next. So please do make that account and let me know how it goes. And make sure it's a local account. Instructions are in the first post on page one if you need them.
