I got it fixed for a day and it stopped working again
Ive tried every solution on the forst page, it doesnt work on another local account and i just want to play the sims 4
@HighLadySith What fixed the issue for a day? Do you use a third-party antivirus, and if so, which one?
I uninstalled and reinstalled everything to do with ea and the sims
which is what i did today to get it to work
I use avg antivirus
@HighLadySith AVG is probably blocking Sims 4 then, which only happens after the first time you launch the game. Here's how to set exceptions:

Make sure you set an exception for TS4_DX9_x64.exe, which is the game's new executable for the default DirectX 9 version; TS4_x64.exe now runs the DX11 version. And set an exception for EADesktop.exe while you're there.
