@tiffy_is_here  I've merged your post with the master thread for this error.  Please try the other troubleshooting steps in the first post on page one.

None of the solutions in the first post worked. I even tried opening the Sims 4 on a new Windows account and the error I had on that profile was "Unable to start: initialization error at start up. [135dec40:29f00e76:00000084:18a1dd51]" I am also logged out of OneDrive, so I know the syncing is turned off. I don't know what else to do.
