I just redownloaded the sims 4 wanting to play again and i was able to download the sims 4 base game just fine but when I click on it to play it will say "the sims 4 is already running" when it isn't. I've uninstalled the game. I've uninstalled the ea app. I've tried repairing the download. I've tried clear the cache in the app. I've checked to see if the game is running in the background of my pc and it is not. I've done everything I possibly can and nothing seems to work. I did everything what the internet said to do and none of that worked. I would like to play the game again. Anyone have the fix? or any other ideas? please help fix this.
