cirmoska I've merged your post with the master thread for this issue. The fact that the game works in a clean Sims 4 folder but not with the old folder in place means something in your old folder is the issue, and you'll need to test to figure out what. Test your mods and custom content first, in the new folder. Test in batches, or use the 50/50 method:

Once you've done that, you can move the contents of the saves and Tray folders to the new Sims 4 folder, plus Screenshots and Recorded Videos if you care about those. The rest can be discarded.

It would be best to disable Game Mode and Game Bar, both under Windows Settings > Gaming, at least temporarily. They don't fix any issues, and at times, they can prevent Sims 4 from working properly.

Thank you i will try this soon! I disabled the game bar but it still shuts off randomly.. it could definitely be some of my mods i have downloaded mods and mods through CurseForge
