MonaLulu​  You can delete the folder if you really don't care about anything inside it.  But your saves and Tray files are probably fine—they don't cause this error even when they're corrupt.  So feel free to move those to the new Sims 4 folder; that way you'll keep your saves and your saved households and builds.
