Alaska5562 It's fine to just "repair" the EA App rather than reinstalling it. Delete the desktop shortcut though, and let the repair create a new one. If it doesn't, go here:
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop
Right-click EADesktop.exe and select Send to > Desktop shortcut.
For the Electronic Arts folders you're finding, did you use Revo to remove the Sims 4 install(s)? And what is inside those two folders?

When I click EA it shows this. Should I delete everything and redownload?
