I know I’m not the first person to talk about this but I have tried everything and the app still won’t open, it says “Unable to start: Cannot start because game data is missing or damaged.”
I have read through so many of these forums, the app was downloaded onto the C Drive so I moved it onto desktop like one user recommended and restarted the computer and got the same message. I moved the mods to a separate folder and restarted, got the same message. I have un an reinstalled from steam over 5 times, deleted the localthumbcatche file and repaired the app with the EA app over ten times and restarted, got the same message.
I even deleted the app and redownloaded it with EA instead and got the same message. I had 4000+ CC that I completely deleted and the app STILL wouldn’t open. I’ve started to redownload them and I’ve deleted any conflicting mods but nothing is working. I also had the DLC unlocker and updater in which i updated both and disabled them when I tried to open the game.
I have been trying to fix this for the past month since the Love Struck update and nothing is working. Any help appreciated.
