Hi There!
I got a new gaming laptop, and redownloaded Sims 4 onto this computer but every time I get to open it it gives me an error saying it cannot open due to missing or damaged game data. I have tried repairing it, uninstalling and reinstalling the sims and EA, restarting my laptop, and I have tried moving the sims 4 folder onto my desktop but nothing seems to be working. I am not worrying about the packs or anything yet, just the base game is not opening.
At this point, I have lost all of my saved games before on my old laptop and I'm not afraid to start new, but I don't know what else I can do.
Any tips would greatly help!
