I recently got a new PC and downloaded the Sims 4 on Steam, and it failed to open saying I needed the Origin app, but obviously it's not just the EA app that exists. So i've downloaded the EA app and downloaded The Sims 4 straight on there after uninstalling it from steam. However it's still giving me the same error code and i've unstalled and re-installed multiple times now, as well as trying the repair feature from the EA app. I've only ever used the Origin app on previous PCs so this is new to me.
I have also never installed any mods as i've never used them and this is a brand new PC built from scratch and I only downloaded the Sims 4 two days ago. See attachment for the error message.
I'm at a massive loss right now and just want to build pretty houses. If anyone can help i'd really appreciate it!
