[CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 Unable to Start, Game Data Missing or Damaged

This is my first time trying to open sims 4 on my pc and i used to play the game 4-5 years ago on my laptop. I keep getting the message that the game is unable to start because game data is missing or damaged. I have tried everything I can think of - I've downloaded and deleted the game multiple times, I've tried downloading it into a different drive in my pc, I've tried to repair the game, I've tried restarting my PC, and I've also tried completely reinstalling the EA app itself. Nothing works. I have never downloaded any mods on the game and this is my first time trying to launch this game in very long and it is quite frustrating. I have attached a screenshot of what pops up when I try to launch the game, and I am at my wits end. Please help me.
