I am at a loss with this error. I have scoured this forum for two day trying solutions that have worked for others, yet they do not work for me and I still have the error.
Unable to start
Cannot start because game data is missing or damaged. If you have Mods installed please remove them and try again. If not, please repair or reinstall the game via Origin.

I have never had The Sims 4 installed on this computer. This is a brand new, fresh install on this computer.
I have moved The Sims 4 folder from documents to the desktop, disabled my anti-virus (Avast Free), uninstalled my antivirus, repaired the game in EA App, Uninstalled and reinstalled via EA App and Steam, tried a new Admin user account, disabled syncing with one drive, uninstalled one drive, ran the takedown command for my documents folder. All uninstalls were done with Revo and a restart of my computer was done after each step.

JMYeager85 Try changing the time on your computer to something different, then letting it sync with internet time again.
If that doesn't help, open this location:
C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local
And remove the Electronic Arts, EADesktop, and Origin folders, if they exist. Revo may not delete all of these during the uninstall process.
Any game that places files in any of these folders should be able to regenerate them when necessary, but just in case that doesn't happen (as it very occasionally does not), it would be best to move the folders elsewhere rather than deleting them outright.
