Before I was getting the "initialization error at start up: [135dec40:90f690cf:00000075:495f32a0]" Now I’m getting the same pop up but with the code [135dec40:29f00e76:00000083:b032c32e].
I’ve tried uninstalling then reinstalling the sims, restarting my computer, removing my mods folder, and made exceptions for the firewall. Non of these methods worked ☹️
Is there anyway to fix this? (I’m on windows 11)
@bunni_b0o This error is typically antivirus-related, so make sure you've set exceptions for all relevent executables specifically in your antivirus (not firewall): TS4_x64, TS4_DX9_x64, and TS4_Launcher_x64, or the entire Bin folder they're in. Set an exception for EADesktop.exe as well.
I don't see a file/application with the name EADesktop. only a "EADESKTOP.EXE-859401.pf" and "EADESKTOP.EXE-D4924635.pf"
@bunni_b0o EADesktop.exe would be here, if the EA App is in fact installed:
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop
