Custom Content not showing up in The Sims 4

I also have this problem. I do not have any sub folders, the allow mods box is ticked and I have tried multiple different downloads. They are all in the MODS folder but will not show up in game.

i am new and i don't know what people mean by folders and desktop etc.So my custom contend button [on game options<other]and it is ticked,but when i look at my custom content[game options<other]it says i have no custom content.please help i have no idea what to do and i have tons of custom content and i cant delete it.PLEASE HELP I AM FREAKING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been using sims for a short while, i got custom content and it was working brilliantly. I was getting some more cc, putting them in my mods folder (it's a bit cluttered in there, but i can still use it to some extent) I opened sims and the box that tells you your cc, it just wasn't there, i didn't think much of it so i continued to go to the "create a sim" part (which is my favorite part, since I am a very creative person) i have acquired quite a few files in the mods folder, so, therefore i would think there would be lots of cc to work with. all my cc was in my mods folder, my cc was enabled in the "game options" but it just wasn't there. so i moved the files around, i've re-opened sims and origin at least 15 times now, nothing is working! this is frustrating me just a bit (I am a mac user so i don't know if that changes things) (or maybe i'm just being really oblivious to things) but i could screenshot my files and you could try to work things out with me, if possible. I'm not sure if I did it somehow? I would really love it if you could help, i was working on a really big project for me and my mates.

Don't worry mine is the same

recently i discovered a problem where the CC shows up in the game but when placed in the world it disappears... the money for the purchase is subtracted but the object is completely gone. if i press undo the money is refunded.. what do i do

Check to see if there is an update to the CC.
