Custom Music

Does anyone know the full, new hierarchy system for the custom music folder?

Yep, I had to launch the game, open the menu, and play one song from each genre in the music tab of the menu to get them to show up...

All of the Folders are as follows for future reference:

    Alternative

    Blues

    Classical

    Electronica

    Pop

    Romance

    Sim Retro

    -endoflist-

Hope this helps anyone else who had the same difficulty finding them as I did...

    Thanks,

    Nathan M.

I've taken a look and was unable to find a Sims 4 folder in My Documents.

I think I've found a way to add music to the game itself but that would probably play either indiscriminately or not at all, depending on how the music is pulled (although on second thought I've probably located... the Soundtrack DLC folder.

    I'll ask around! 🙂

In \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Custom_Music I only have the Electronica folder; so, I'm guessing I have to play each genre first to get the corresponding folder then... Well, at least The Sims 4 loads up in about five seconds. I was really shocked about the quick load times on max settings.

    Thanks Crin & Francois!

Oh, my bad, it seems that on my computer I have a bunch of My Documents folders, and The Sims 4 plopped a folder in one of them but not the others.

    Good thinking! 🙂
