Deleted Households Reappear in Library

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.95.207.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have all except Journey to Batu
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? If you delete households that are saved to your library, they will show back up a few days later.
What happens when the bug occurs? I recently went through my library and manually deleted a whole bunch of households that I had saved from the gallery to free up space for the new expansion pack. A few days later, I noticed they all had reappeared, so I had to re-delete them. Then, few days later, they were back! I really would like them permanently deleted. I contacted EA support the first time it happened and they advised me to delete TrayDeletedItems folder. But that didn't work because it happened again after I deleted it.
What do you expect to see? My deleted households to be permanently gone from my library and not show back up a few days later.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I have described the bug above. I do not have additional info.

  • @simsgamer3000  It sounds like OneDrive may have uploaded the files for these houses and is downloading the files again whenever you delete them.  So please check OneDrive's Documents folder for any Sims 4 data.

If you find a Tray folder there, you can delete the households manually, which will require figuring out which files correspond to those households, which in turn can be accomplished by deleting the households from within the game and comparing your main Tray folder with the one in OneDrive.  Or you can delete the Tray folder from OneDrive and upload your main one.  In that case, I'd suggest first making a backup of the Tray folder stored on your computer in case OneDrive decides to delete both folders at once.  Then you can just restore the backup with no harm done.
