Desperately Need Help

Question

I recently upgraded from playing Sims on a Mac to a HP Victus 15 Gaming Laptop. I'm trying to transfer the game onto an external SSD. I'm not computer savvy so I'm pretty sure I'm not doing it correctly. I've watched a step-by-step YouTube video but it's still not working. None of the downloaded mods or CC are showing up but they're enabled in the game settings. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I've been at this for 2 days now and I'm getting frustrated.&nbsp;

TerrickaWo&nbsp; Please undo whatever you've done so far, and use this guide instead:

If you get an error, stop at that point and post a screenshot.
Please also do NOT combine your user data with the game's program files.&nbsp; So if you've installed Sims 4 directly on your external drive, make a folder on that drive (called anything you want that isn't "The Sims 4") and direct your user data to that location.
