run the game with dx11 in the different modes described below
What happens when the bug occurs?
when live mode is not paused and I'm actively playing the game GPU usage for sims 4 is around 39% to 45%
when I do any of the following (pause live mode, enter build mode, open game options) GPU usage for sims 4 fluctuates between 40% to 60% .... that is if I'm moving the mouse!
If I stop moving the mouse in any of the above modes including un-paused live mode OR sims 4 window (i play in windowed fullscreen) is not in-focus OR when I press ESC .... in any of these 3 cases GPU usage for sims 4 is 93% to 96%
I also noticed that typing in the gallery is very laggy. There is a noticeable lag between pressing the letter and it actually showing.

no spikes in GPU usage

all are disabled
because of the crazy GPU usage with dx11 , I went back to dx9. sad thing is.. nvidia is not recognizing that version no more.. I can't open nvidia overlay and take pretty screenshots. so sad ☹️

The complete text from all of HIghschool Years pop-ups and notifications are missing. I haven't encounter this bug in other packs, only with Highschool Years.
omg im literally so annoyed about this - i cannot record or take screen shots at the moment this is insane 😞
