Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open the game with DX11 enabled, open menu or load into the save/create a new save
What happens when the bug occurs? With DX11 enabled GPU usage is skyrocketing, causing the GPU to work on maximum and reach max temperatures. In the main menu GPU usage is already 60%, while loading up a save or even creating a new one, in both live mode and build/buy GPU is at 100% usage, reaching even up to 97 degrees. Due to that PC itself works very loud which is worrying. CPU usage seems fine, RAM usage is lower than in DX9 but GPU usage is massive even if the game is paused. Another problem I stumbled upon is game having unstable FPS while running on DX11. Everything becomes laggy and freezes from time to time but I think it can be related to the unexplained GPU usage, which causes game lagging due to graphic card being used on it's full power for some reason. I don't think it's either normal or acceptable for GPU to reach normal safe temps with DX9 but skyrocket for no reason with DX11. I also can't TAB out of the game.
What do you expect to see? I expect GPU's nomal usage and not being overworked all the time. I expect to not see GPU usage spikes while other components are working fine.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes I have both custom content and mods. I tried running vanilla game and the problem still occurs.
I also have suggestion that I hope will be taken into consideration: Please if you really have to, make DX11 an option. People would be grateful for having a setting and most importantly a choice to play either on DX9 or DX11 instead of DX11 being forced to everyone. That is because no matter how much you might work on DX11 for The Sims 4, it still might have issues that doesn't occur on DX9 or are simply unfixable. People would surely feel more comfortable that way, Thank you.
