Doctor profession bug, no patients appearing the entire workday

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just have a sim be a Doctor, and when he goes to work, see if a single patient appears the entire workday.
What happens when the bug occurs? My sim is sitll free to roam around and interact with the surrounding objects, but that's about it.
What do you expect to see? I expected patients so my sim can perform the work tasks for the day.

I assigned the Doctor profession to a sim. When it came time to work, he got transported to the clinic, but there were no patients! I mean, the clinic was deserted the whole workday except for my sim.
Maybe this part of the game broke from the last major update? Anyone else had this problem? Anyway, the day ended saying my sim did a poor job because he helped zero patients.
