Downloaded Sims not showing up in game

As the title says I can’t find the sims I downloaded in my game. I made sure to put the tray files in the tray folder and the cc in the mods folder. I can see the files in my mods folder in game and I also allow custom content and script mods and I still can’t see any of them in my library and yes I do check the box to include custom content in my library still nothing. I even tried downloading sims from different creators they still don’t show up. I’ve downloaded rooms before and I’ve had no problems with the tray files and CCs they showed up normally in my library and in game. I really don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Please anyone help!!

When I unzipped the folder, I manually moved the files to the ElectronicArts/Sims4/Tray folder. I also went through the whole folder to check for any subfolders and I didn’t find any. Maybe I don’t know what I’m looking for I’ll double check anyway.

  • axx_ruth13  If you don't see any folder icons inside Tray, you're fine.  Do you still need help?  I ask because you marked my reply as the solution after you posted here, and I want to make sure you're not still having trouble with these files.

Yea I double checked the folder and turns out a few days earlier I had pinned the tray folder to quick access/my desktop and I’ve been putting my tray files in that folder without realizing that it wasn’t directly under the electronic arts folder. So when I moved the tray files to the tray folder that wasn’t pinned to quick access and it WAS under electronic arts all the sims appeared in my gallery. Tysm!!
