drive

hello everyone! i can't find anyone with the same issue as me. which is: my c drive was running out of space and i had sims 4 and all my (3000+) mods and saves installed on the said c drive. so i thought hey, i've got like 200gb of storage on my d drive. so i selected everything on my sims 4 folder and clicked 'move to', moving it to the d drive. everything seemed perfect until i started the game. all my saves gone, everything i ever had saved in my gallery gone, mods don't work. i reinstalled the game, clicked 'fix game' two times but … nothing. could anyone guide me on what to do? NOTE: i've read many articles on here and when i open the game, it does NOT create any folders or files on my c drive, so the CMD + link method unfortunately doesn't work for me. thanks in advance.
