EA app doesn't recognize the game already installed on my external drive

Hi, I've alr installed the game files on the external drive and yet EA app doesn't recognize it. It says to "download" but I've alr downloaded the game on my external! And it didn't create a shortcut...

hi i still need help. i can't update it now because i toggled off auto update and i just toggled it on but it didn't update automatically now. 

this is what it looks like if i download the game to the same location
