I tried to play Sims 4 last night but when I would try to open it, it would automatically go to the EA app. Then, the play button would just show a loading symbol and a pop-up saying things may be slower. I left it for about 30 minutes hoping it would get better but it didn't. I tried to go back on today but it still is having the same issue.
JAYxLxA Try forcing the EA App to update. Go here:
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop
and launch the EAUpdater.exe.
If that doesn't help, uninstall the App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine), and use the Intensive scanning method when asked. Restart your computer before reinstalling the App.
While troubleshooting, please open the App first and give it a few moments to load before trying to launch Sims 4.
