Let's see what sort of mess this makes!

It's black, the interface is not at all nice to look at, it seems clunky compared to the origin interface, I hope they change that soon. - Ziafar3 years agoNew Adventurer@LeGardePourpre Ah, now that is a suggestion.
- I don’t understand why there’s no choice. Both do the same job. Why make Origin if they were going to make an EA App anyway? I’m confused ???♂️?
- I like the look of the new app and only uninstalled it recently because it wouldn't let me install my store content for Sims3. As they fixed the install problem with the packs I am hoping that my store content will be okay.

I've already switched over to the new EA app over the weekend as I got a new PC and when I typed in Origin to download, it came up as the new EA app. So it's installed as well as my saves from TS4 as I had backed them up on an external Disc drive. I just need to move over what little bit of CC to my file and get my mods back... :)
What save files? We have to add our save files for our game to the app?
But it just launches the game, not manages the files? ???♂️. Or is this something completely different to Origin?- shorty943p3 years agoNew TravelerWell, at least it's working, including in offline mode, with all my save games still in place.

We've been in the process of migrating users in waves from Origin to the new EA app on Windows since mid October. You'll eventually see a message like the one above pop up when launching Origin now that the EA app is no longer in Beta.
You can read more about the new EA app on EA.com here, and if you run into any issues or if you have feedback to share please do let us know here so we can take a look and let the right teams know.
With all respect wouldn't it be nice to make sure the EA app works with all of your games before forcing people onto it? I can't keep my Sims 3 store content with the EA app because it keeps being removed. I don't want this app until it works with all of my games.
