EA homepage and “Preparing game” pop up in endless loop?
for about 2 weeks now Sims 4 has not been opening. it is stuck on a loop of the EA homepage and Preparing Game pop up.
i have done everything possible to fix this, including resetting/deleting the Sims 4, and even resetting my computer. i deleted all mods and CC and tried again, and i got the same result of the loop.
all codes look correct and nothing is out of the ordinary, there is no cc or mods that are conflicting, and my pc is running perfectly normal.
i have exhausted all options, any extra help is appreciated.
edit: i have contacted EA about the issue and have had no response
@444xavier When you say you reset your computer, do you mean reset to factory default, meaning you lost all your data? Or do you mean something else?
Is the EA App loading properly if you open it and don't try to launch Sims 4? Are you launching the game from within the App game library or from its desktop shortcut?
Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
