EA Launcher wont Launch Sims 4

A good portion of the time when i hit the sims to open the sims, the EA launcher will appear and get stuck on "preparing game" but thats it

    @3m0shiz  Is there any pattern to when this happens, for example the second time you try to play Sims 4 in one session?  When it happens, does it help to restart your computer?  A few players have mentioned needing to kill the EABackgroundService in the Task Manager after closing the App itself in order for the App to work the next time it's opened.

    Please also let me know whether you're trying to launch Sims 4 through the App game library or the desktop shortcut, and if the shortcut, whether using the game library instead makes a difference.
