EA Play Required To Open My Game

I'm having an issue with the EA app suddenly not letting me play The Sims 4. Whenever I try to launch it from the desktop shortcut or the app, I get this message. I paid for the base game years ago and have paid for all my packs and I don't understand why it's not letting me play.
