[EBN] Game Crashes when exiting CAS when infants in household.

tkassam​  The info you've copied and pasted into the reply is what I was looking for.  I already have a dxdiag; this is just specifying the type of crash and what directly caused it.  In your case, the report is saying that Sims 4 (in DirectX 9 mode) crashed because Sims 4 (DX9 mode) crashed, because of an access violation.  This isn't helpful by itself, unfortunately, in that it doesn't point to an outside trigger that could be dealt with.

However, since your original post, there have been a number of reports of crashes specific to certain lots in the new world, including on systems with no apparent issues other than the game crashes.  So I'd like to know whether there's any pattern to the lots you're playing on.

I'd also like a lastcrash file, the newest one you see in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.  You'd need to open it and delete its first line of text in order to be able to attach it to a reply.

Please let me know whether you get crashes in DirectX 11 mode as well.

puzzlezaddict​ I'm not sure what you mean by patterns to the lots I'm playing. I always play the treehouse lot in Innisgreen but I noticed that every time I tried to exit build mode from the world view on a lot the game would crash on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd attempt. Kinda random, yet it always happened by the 3rd attempt if not sooner. So I avoid worldview to edit lots.

I just played in Dx11 mode and the game crashed again when I tried to exit CAS with the Infant in my household. Going to try to attach the Last crash report minus the first line. Looks like jibberish to me. Thanks for all your assistance in this matter. 

tkassam​  I was asking if the crashes happened only on certain lots, which you've answered anyway.

The treehouse lot is one of the lots that's causing some crashing.  I'll pass along this info, but it looks like something EA might need to fix.  So I'd suggest playing elsewhere for now, and not on either of the pond lots, which also produce crashes at a higher-than-normal rate.

puzzlezaddict​ FYI, I tried the Greenwood Hamlet Residence on a new save and it also crashes when an infant enters the household and you exit CAS. I'm on save 7 or 8 now. I lost count.  I think it's time to find another game and say good-bye to Sims. I waited since the start of Sims 4 for Fairies and they broke it. Thanks for all your help.

The Sims 4 continues to crash after the [EBN] game was installed if you play for more than a few hours and exit CAS and is unrecoverable. It DOES NOT matter:

• which world you play in
• which lot you live in
• whether mods and CC are installed 
• whether you play without mods and CC
• whether your fairy doesn't have any tattoos, glowing or otherwise
• whether your fairy has no crazy Skintones - fairy form and human form have same EA skintone
• whether your household has no infants, no toddlers, no children
• None of it matters- only playing the game for a few hours.

You can try fixing, recovering saves from different time stamps, repairing game, deleting caches, and starting fresh saves, but nothing stops it.

HOW TO RECREATE THE PROBLEM:

1. Install Enchanted by Nature
2. Play the Game in any world, any household, no mods, for more than a few hours.
3. Exit CAS 1, 2, or 3x. Or exit Build mode 1,2 or 3x. Randomly crashes on first, second or third attempt.
4. Try to Re-enter Live Mode the Game crashes.
