Epic Games DLC not showing up on my game despite EA App saying they're installed
I bought the Sims 4 on Steam back when it wasn't free, so I bought most of my DLC there. I only got Epic Games to get the Daring Lifestyle bundle when it was free. On my old laptop, I linked all three apps and use the EA App to play TS4 and there were no issues; all of my DLCs showed up on my game despite the heavy lag.
Recently, I started using a new laptop. When I played TS4 for the first time there, only the Epic Games DLC were showing up on my game. The next day, when I tried playing again, only the Steam DLCs were showing up. The Epic Games DLC all says "Installed" on the EA App. (My Steam DLC all says "Manage on Steam"; does that mean my Epic Games DLC should say "Manage on Epic Games"?) My graphics drivers' issues aside (thankfully already fixed), it's been more than a week and only the Steam DLCs are showing up in my game. It hasn't fixed itself unlike my earlier issue with Steam DLC not showing up.
How do I fix this? Thank you!
@NumberedBeats Please open Revo again and make sure it can't find a copy of Sims 4. If it does, let Revo uninstall it.
Reinstall the game through Steam, along with all the DLC you own there. Open the EA App and download the packs listed there, under Sims 4 > Manage > Manage add-ons. This should include the content from Epic. Make sure the App does NOT try to download another copy of the base game. The packs should install into the Steam version's folder, and then everything should load when you open the game again.
