Error 0e6d1221:1df4e8dc:0000012d:912c9c10

Error 0e6d1221:1df4e8dc:0000012d:912c9c10

Can't run The Sims 4 with the video card in this system. Please check that the video card meets the minimum specifications and that the latest video drivers are installed.

This error occurs everytime I try to start the game.

I've tried all the suggested solution:

- disable origin in game

- install origin beta

- assign the correct graphic card in a switchable option

- dowload the newest driver (amd radeon hd 6470M)

nothing at all.

I've always run the game without any problems.

I know that there are different topic on this issue, but I was invited to open a new one.

New solution?

PS my laptop is a hp pavillon g6 series

thanx

Sorry if I reply to my last post, but I solved the problem of drivers and I don't know how to proceed now. The game still doesn't work.

EDIT: searching by the internet I've found on "sims forum" brizbe95 that simply "repair the game" from origin. Right click on the sims game in origin and click repair game.

Anyway, thank you to everybody who help me.

Have a nice work and continue to support customers as you do.

@Diva456 Did you try all the suggestions here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/FAQ-Unable-to-Start-Can-t-run-The-Sims-4-with-the-video-Card-in/m-p/7600612

If the issues persists it's probably best if you made your own thread with the following info. This thread is rather old.

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

    - Press Windows-Key + R
    - Type: DxDiag
    - Click on Save all Information.
    - Attach the Text File to your post

    Exact error message

Also attach the config.log file found in your doc folder

  • Hi, replied to this thread because I'm having the same problem. Never had any problems on my old PC playing this game, so I'm wondering what could cause this...

Edit: Have looked into multiple posts of these, what I think could be an issue is my graphics chip being on this game. However there is not a link how to fix this for AMD systems.

I have tried disabling Origin in-game in both The Sims 4 itself and also Origin in it's entirety.

I have tried repairing the game, and restarting my pc, but nothing so far has worked. It is quite frustrating for me right now.

    EDIT 2:

Ok, so launching the game in windowed mode has fixed the problem for me, and it's also not that big of a deal as you can change back to fullscreen when in the game, but still pretty annoying that you would have to do this. But at least the game works.
