Error code EC:11002

Hi all, 

I have tried to update sims 4 on my laptop but i keep getting this error code EC:11002. I have tried searching for it and googling but nothing is coming up. Can anyone help me please in simple terms as i'm an 80's girl so have minimal knowledge of the inner workings of laptops, they just weren't around when i was at school!  😅 I don't have any cc just normal packs.
