Fame bar is not working; Sims cannot gain fame.

Hi, I've removed all my CC and mods and this issue is still occurs. I've played with Get Famous in the past successfully, and I have all DC except Moschino. I have two celebrity Sims currently living in Britechester and going to uni. Their fame bars have simply stopped working, they will not rise no matter what my Sims do, one even works in the acting career which in the past has helped my Sims gain fame quite quickly. I've played in game for weeks with my Sims constantly trying to gain fame to no avail. I haven't been able to find any answers anywhere so I hope someone can help. Thanks.
