File does not exist

Fr1ck3r01​  What exactly are you trying to do?  The file in question is a temp file that only exists while installing or repairing the game or a pack, but that shouldn't be an issue.

What you can try for now is deleting the Areas folder, then repairing again.  Make sure the EA App is closed and the EABackgroundService is NOT running in the Task Manager's background processes list.  The App should download this and any other missing data during the repair process.  If that doesn't help, try again, except delete the entire Data folder.

puzzlezaddict​ I am trying to install the sims 4, closed the EA app and the background app but i still couldn't delete the folder. I had created new ones and changed the download location but when it gets to 66% it says file doesn't exist. 

Fr1ck3r01​  Try installing only the base game at first, then any packs you own afterwards.  Even though the file in question is part of the base game, the App sometimes stumbles over installing a lot of content at the same time.

If that doesn't help, delete the entire Sims 4 folder and try again, in yet another new install location.  If you can't delete the folder, even with the EA App and its background service closed, restart your computer and try again.
