Does anyone know if For Rent is still corrupting saves if you have a lot of clutter or a lot of rental properties? I stopped playing a year ago because of it and having kept up with the updates to know if it’s been fixed or not.
If it hasn’t, does anyone know if there are certain ways to avoid save corruption besides using no decor or rental properties? I’m a big decorator and planned on making a legacy/storyline save using one (JUST ONE) rental property.
Lmanopal I personally have not had any problems with for rent corrupting my saves. I have only ever had a max of 7 rent properties though this was when I did the tiny town challenge. you can not have more than 6 in one building now or one plot though as the cheat was disabled. The one problem still is where you only get 1 days rent for the first week, the second week is fine though. try it in a test save for a couple of sim weeks see if it's ok for you.
I was wondering what was going on. I would have never purchased this pack if I knew I had to constantly fix my files. Is there a way the pack can be removed from the game or disabled?
selah757 You can deactivate the pack from the marketplace, my collection, pack selection. Are you still getting corruption then? They did do some fixes to it so maybe give it a go again see if it is ok now. it is for me I use for rent to give my extended family somewhere to live rent free.
