Freezing during game play and building

hello!

thank you heaps for the info you have provided, i have tried taking out the sims from the electronic arts folder and so far have had no problems, will update again if something does occur though

as for the previous household, when you mentioned the sims house hold could be corrupted out of curiosity how does that happen during random gameplay and building, would the gallery be possibly responsible? iv never had this issue before so its beyond me, would it be safer to also scrap that build and household? or could i go back?

sorry for all the questions i feel like i should know but im new to PC only been on laptop before hand eheh.
