gallery

I have an issue that I can't find a solution to.  I've looked through all of the gallery questions here and can't find any with a similar problem.  I'm assuming that this must be caused by settings somewhere but for the life of me I can't figure it out!  Long story short... I can't see Maxis Favorites in the gallery.  I can see them if I search on the gallery website.  Or even the gallery app on my iPhone but the actual in-game gallery does not show them.  I realized this when I was downloading a whole map of lots created by someone and told her she had 4 of them not on the gallery. She sent me the links on Twitter and said how strange that those were the ones that got Maxis Favorites.  Then, I got a Maxis Favorite... I needed to add my own creation back into the game and couldn't find her! I had to click on one of the things that said someone had downloaded it to get it!  Last, I was trying to figure out who had made a sim and I knew I had gotten him from a specific hashtag but after searching over an hour I could not find him!  I ended up asking for help on Twitter and someone found him.  I could find this household on the website gallery but when I search on the in-game gallery it doesn't show up!  I repair my game weekly but did it again just in case... no help.  I took out my tray... nope.  I took out my mods and CC... nothing.  I even tried taking out my saves folder... nothing.  I looked through all the settings in Origin and can't find anything.  Google searches don't bring up anyone with this issue and I think people think I'm making it up!  Please help.
