alrightangel Please update the driver for your graphics chip. Your current driver is from 2017 and is crashing, and while the newest one Intel offers is only from 2021, it should work better.

Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart the laptop after installing and before trying to play.
If you get an error when trying to install the driver (Intel says it's compatible, so it is, but sometimes laptop software blocks drivers not provided by the manufacturer), use this workaround:

If this doesn't help, try playing with your laptop offline. You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.
Windows Error pops up and states this driver is not validated for my computer. Intel auto updater also shows no valid update for this driver.
I have previously tried offline mode and it doesn't make a difference.
Edit: I found a way to manually update the driver to the linked version and it made no difference either.
