Basically what I wrote. I recently got an SSD card, sought out instructions as to how to play it through an SSD card, tried it and when I play the game the Sims 4 folder reappears, but doesn't in the SSD drive. I'm so confused, I would appreciate any help from anyone, thanks.
theskyatnight94 There are (and should be) two separate Sims 4 folders on your computer. One holds the game itself, as in, what the EA App or Steam installs; the other holds user data: saves, Tray files, mods, etc. These shouldn't be mixed.
I would guess you installed your game on the SSD but are looking at the user folder in Documents. If you want this folder on your SSD as well, you'll need to create a symbolic link. Here's how:
